American Factory Blinds is a family-run workshop based in Miami. Jhonny Estrada and his team carry every step themselves: the in-home visit with samples, the professional measurement, the custom fabrication and the installation. No middlemen, no subcontractors.

We have high ceilings and he installed the biggest, tallest blinds over the stairs. He came on time, he brought his store to us, and he took care of us as if we were family.
For 8 years, American Factory Blinds has been our go-to. Our motorized zebra blinds, installed nearly a decade ago, are still in perfect condition.
He ordered the blinds on Tuesday and installed the shades on Friday. Johnny is a perfectionist. He did not take any short-cuts to get the job done.

Yes. We come to your home or business with the sample book, review your windows and give you a no-obligation quote at no cost.
Do you bring samples to my home?
Always. We bring fabrics, colors and mechanisms so you can see them in the real light of your rooms, which is never the light of a showroom.
Why do I need professional measurement?
Because a perfect fit depends on window depth, trim, handles, out-of-square openings and mount type. Those are the details DIY measuring misses — and the ones that ruin a custom shade.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are finished in anywhere from a few hours to a full day, depending on the number of windows and whether there are motors to program.
Do you offer motorized shades and smart-home control?
Yes — it is one of our specialties. Remote, phone app or voice, with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Home integration depending on the motor platform chosen. Rechargeable battery, plug-in and hardwired options are all available.
Do you work in homes and in businesses?
Both. Houses, apartments and towers, plus offices, restaurants, retail and hospitality, where glare, privacy and durability are what matter.
Which areas do you serve?
Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Collier (Naples) and Lee (Fort Myers and Cape Coral). Each area has its own phone line on this page.
Do you repair shades that are already installed?
Yes: motors, remote reprogramming, brackets, battery replacement and alignment adjustments. We prioritize what we installed ourselves; for other companies' products we start with an evaluation to see whether a repair is feasible.
